Earlier this month, Billy Sorrentino was hyping Wired’s annual Design Life issue. Just a few weeks later, there is news that he will soon be applying those design chops at an even bigger Bay Area shingle.
Wired’s executive creative director is headed to Apple. From Peter Kafka’s item:
A Wired rep says Sorrentino will be joining Apple’s design team, but wouldn’t offer more detail. …
Two other high-ranking editors left Wired in August. Wired says David Moretti, previously its deputy creative director, will take Sorrentino’s place.
Sorrentino worked previously in New York for Condé Nast.
