Microsoft’s Windows 8 store has a new app available for download called FlipToast, which brings Twitter, Facebook and YouTube to the store for the first time.
Here is more about the app from the FlipToast website: “FlipToast allows you to receive immediate alerts about what your friends are up to or what they are posting on your wall. Your news feed will show up as little notification windows on your desktop, shown the minute that they are shared. You will also see a little red number on the sidebar when someone comments on your status or something else that you have posted.”
The Verge has more: “It is one of only four ‘social’ apps in Microsoft’s new Windows Store and the first to offer Twitter functionality for the Windows 8 Consumer Preview.”
