Wikipedia is rolling out improvements to its mobile interface this week, updating its navigation system and visual tweaks, including a new font, aimed at increasing the readability of articles.
“The new navigation system is designed to make mobile features and settings more discoverable, paving the way for the addition of new features. In the coming months, the mobile team will continue to experiment with and build contributory features,” the nonprofit Wikimedia Foundation said in a blog post.
The forthcoming navigation menu includes a featured article, which is also the landing page, a random article, contacts, settings and about Wikimedia.
The features are already available to beta users.
