Why Washington D.C. Gossip Sucks
On Wednesday at 4:25 p.m. Roll Call‘s esteemed gossip column HOH tweeted an odd message to readers: “Heard on the Hill will not publish today due to lack of energy and zero cleverness. Check back in tomorrow. #onlypartofthisstatementisfact”
When we tried to get to the bottom of what this meant, we learned a couple of things. For starters, HOH Writer Neda Semnani wrote the tweet and is responsible for the HOH Twitter handle. Secondly, Roll Call PR says the note was “a joke.”
