Apropos of all this Pellicano intrigue, we just got an amusing email from the deep-sixed Page Sixer, Jared Paul Stern.

Jared says he thinks Ron Burkle is “getting a free pass from the Times,” and adds, “It doesn’t take a Nancy Drew to figure out Burkle’s leaking like a sieve to save his own bloated billionaire ass.”

Apparently, someone disagrees.
