“It’s not a soup, but it’s a good one. Chili Con Carne cause everything’s better with Carne,” quipped Co-host Chuck Todd. We’re not sure whether this was an unusual shout-out to Jay Carney, the White House Press Secretary. Savannah Guthrie chimed right in: “I was going to say, everything’s controversial, even the soup or the non-soup.”
“That’s right,” concurred Todd.
