White House Correspondents' Thursday Roundup
Thursday night kicked off White House Correspondents’ Weekend and FishbowlDC was out and about at the parties to which we were invited (which did not include “The Global Beat,” by the UN Foundation, Devex, and Foreign Affair, sponsored by Washington Life, and Uber).
We were at the Welcome to Washington: A Salute to Women in Journalism party at the home of Story Partners’ Gloria Dittus and hosted by NBC’s Betsy Fischer Martin,Washingtonian’s Cathy Merrill Williams, CNN’s Dana Bash, CBS’s Jan Crawford and the New Republic’s Julia Ioffe.
