Rovio’s Amazing Alex may have topped the paid iPhone app charts after its release, but the game couldn’t dethrone Disney Mobile’s Where’s My Perry, which returned to the top of both the iPhone and iPad charts this week. Amazing Alex falls to No. 7 on the iPhone charts and No. 8 on the iPad charts.
The paid version of Zynga’s latest With Friends title, Matching With Friends performed well this week, hitting No. 10 on the iPhone app charts. The $2.99 app was officially released on July 10 and has been slowly climbing the paid iPhone app charts ever since.
This week’s fastest rising app is Sony’s officially branded game JEOPARDY! HD, which has risen 27 spots to take the No. 9 spot on the paid iPad app chart, thanks to a limited time sale that has knocked the price to $0.99.
