WheelsTV, whose Web site programming features all things automotive, has gone live with a mobile version built on the Azuki MashMedia Platform.
The two announced their partnership last June, when WheelsTV became the start-up’s first pilot customer.
Like its online parent, WheelsTV.mobi features interactive and personalized automotive-themed content including high-quality video news, user-generated content, POV reviews of previously owned vehicles and social networking features.
The ClickZoom feature of Azuki’s MashMedia platform breaks video content down into bite-sized pieces, allowing high-quality performance even on lower-end phones. This also makes it easier for users to navigate within the videos themselves and watch only the segments that spark their interest. Site visitors can also comment on these individual video segments and forward them to friends, rate the videos and share them directly from the mobile site.
