WhatsApp introduced a simple update to its Android application that will speed the process of watching videos for users.

The Facebook-owned messaging app now supports streaming of videos, rather than forcing users to wait until entire videos are downloaded prior to viewing them, Manish Singh of Mashable reported.

WhatsApp has been on a feature frenzy of late, launching video calling, support for GIFs and its test of Snapchat Stories clone Status earlier this month, following the addition of new camera features in October.
