What's Going On With the Hollywood Sign?
There was a warning earlier in the week that the Hollywood Sign would be covered or something and not to be alarmed. LAist reports that the sign is supposed read “Save the Peak.”
As of this posting we’ve yet to see any pictures or find out if they’ve pulled it off.
Is it possible for “LA activists” to be interested in anything besides fighting over green space and thwarting ways to ease traffic? Don’t we have the biggest homeless population in the nation? Gang problem? It seems a little dysfunctional to have a city so mired in major issues to suddenly rally around a hill.
