From yesterday’s pool report:
Entering the hotel, one of the poolers greeted the president, who responded, “Buenos Dias.” POTUS was told of Chris’ 30th birthday. “(Chris was standing there blushing.) POTUS turned back to greet him and asked in Spanish, 30 anos”? (30 years old?) and then said in English, “We’ll get him on the airplane.”
That’d be Chris Edwards, part of the White House’s advance press team.
And then today’s tip:
on their last night in mexico, the wh press corps held a birthday party for a wh staffer.
