WETA is giving away a free Ipod.
Well, “free” might be a strong choice of words. But it is an “exclusive” 16 GB iPod Nano and comes pre-loaded with more than 45 hours of music. “We have compiled the most popular selections from our annual Classical WETA Countdown including Beethoven’s entire 9th Symphony, Dvorak’s New World Symphony, Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony and many more, totaling 100 pieces in all!” they write in an email.
The Listener’s Choice iPod has other perks — a pedometer and an FM tuner (“pre-set to 90.9 FM of course!), so you always have Classical WETA at the push of a button no matter where you go.”
Here’s the catch: You must cough up a $1000 donation. (Psst…there’s always the giant coffee mug for $120.)
