Revisiting Some Murdoch Media Nepotism
For someone married to the 117th richest person in the world, Wendi Murdoch (pictured) endures relatively little LA media scrutiny. Not so Down Under, where the activities of spouses attached to Murdoch’s both senior and junior are always big news.
Over the weekend, Sydney Morning Herald social columnist Andrew Hornery touched on, among other things, her upcoming film adaptation Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. In doing so, he noted how being Rupert Murdoch’s third significant other has its benefits.
Writes Hornery:
The film was shot in February in Zhejiang province and Murdoch reportedly convinced her great chum Hugh Jackman – who became godfather to Chloe and Grace, her daughters with Rupert, at their baptism in Jordan in March – to make a cameo in the film.
