Weigel, O'Donnell Talk Tea...Literally
Last night, when Slate‘s Dave Weigel tweeted that he’d be on MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell Show “talking Tea,” we naturally assumed he’d be talking about the Tea Party – a group that he covers extensively. But how wrong we were.
The discussion started with a conversation about budget negotiations, as expected. But then O’Donnell unexpectedly veered off track.
O’Donnell: Let’s talk Tea now.
Weigel: Yes.
O’Donnell: I’m a big fan of Earl Grey. I was just drinking some Earl Grey before the show started.
