Happy Wednesday, folks! We’ve made it to the workweek’s halfway point which can only mean one thing—it’s time for our weekly roundup of wacky, crazy and weird videos. This week our Weekly Dose Of WTF features William Shatner’s latest music video, a Disney surprise gone strangely wrong, a strange Herman Cain Presidential campaign ad, a cat on a traffic light, a bear in a grocery store and your own personal stalker! So sit back, relax and, as always, prepare to be WTF-ified!
William Shatner – Bohemian Rhapsody [Official Music Video]
Holy Shatner! As if William Shatner doing a cover of Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ spoken word-style wasn’t strange enough, the video features Shatner’s face “singing” from a starry sky, and shooting meteors at the earth for the entertainment of a teen couple. The video was created to promote Shatner’s latest album, Seeking Major Tom, which features covers of popular artists from Lyle Lovett to Sheryl Crow, Bootsy Collins and more. The video has been viewed over 676,000 times this week.
Now is the time for action!
By now you may have see this video that has been drawing up some controversy on Presidential candidate Herman Cain’s YouTube page. The campaign ad features Herman Cain’s Chief of Staff Mark Block talking about why he stands by Cain and why people should get involved…and smoking a cigarette while the song ‘I Am America’ plays in the background. Um…huh? Block told Fox News that the ad doesn’t endorse smoking. Rather, as a smoker, her was just being himself. What do you think?
Disney Surprise Gone Wrong – We’re not going to Chattanooga???
A mother surprises her kids with the news that instead of taking a vacation to Chattanooga they’ll be headed to Disney World! The reaction is not quite what she expected… Embedding has been disabled for this video. Click here to watch it on YouTube.
Cat On A Traffic Light
Looks like this cat is trying to cause a few accidents. He’s perched himself right inside the red light. I wonder how he got up there?
Bear cub in Alaska grocery store
The last thing you expect when you head to do your grocery shopping is to find a bear cub walking around in the produce, but that’s exactly what happened in one Alaskan grocery store. We featured this video earlier this week in our Weekly Dose Of Cute, but thought it would be fitting to bring it back for our WTF roundup.
