This past week has been filled to the brim with bizarre, weird and slightly creepy videos and we’re so happy that Wednesday is finally here so we can share our WTF video findings in our Weekly Dose Of WTF! This week we bring you fried Kool-Aid, Weird Al’s Lady Gaga parody, some fish jokes with bad timing, a urinal game and a Woolite ad directed by none other than…Rob Zombie? Prepare to be WTF-ified!
If you’ve been hanging out on Twitter at all this week then you may have noticed that Fried Kool-Aid was trending for most of Monday and Tuesday, and you may have wondered why. The answer, my friends, is that a chef at the San Diego County Fair actually fried Kool-Aid and served it up to county fair snackers. Don’t believe it? Check out the video below. Would you eat Fried Kool-Aid?
Weird Al Yankovic – Perform This Way (Lady Gaga Parody)
Back in April, Weird Al made headlines when he uploaded a parody of Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ to YouTube (audio only), reporting that the Mother Monster didn’t want him to use the song on his upcoming album. In the end, it turned out that Gaga was unaware of the song and she gave her permission. The song will be released on his upcoming Alpocalypse album, and the music video came out this week. It will most certainly elicit a raised eyebrow and “WTF?”
FISH MAN: Man tells joke after a car crashes into an aquarium store
How would you react if a car crashed into your aquarium store, killing all of your fish? Probably not by telling fish jokes, right?
Restroom Video Game Concept – Sega #DigInfo
Sega has unveiled a new restroom video game concept—men aim at a target when they pee at a urinal to play a game on a screen above the urinal. This sounds a little weird, but I have to admit I’m also a little jealous. Can’t they come out with a fun bathroom game for women too?
Woolite Commercial: “Torture” (Directed by Rob Zombie)
A new Woolite commercial hit the web this week and it’s unlike any detergent commercial you’ve ever seen before. Directed by Rob Zombie, it doesn’t feature any of the pleasant images, flowers or amazing stain-fighting demonstrations that we’ve come to expect from companies like Woolite. Rather, it features clothing being tortured to get the message across—don’t torture your clothes…choose Woolite.
