Wear Multiple Hats as Bonnier’s New Content Manager/Managing Editor

bonniercorp072010.jpgWith the news of its newly-appointed brand director, it’s not surprising that Bonnier is hiring. The media company is on the hunt for a content manager/managing editor (yes, that’s one position with multiple duties) to work from its Winter Park, Fla. headquarters.

If you’re the type who likes to have a lot on your plate, this is the perfect gig for you. Wearing your content manager hat, you’ll be the first line editor on all of the front-of-book departments and assist the brand director on coming up with innovative plans for the company’s digital initiatives, including iPad and Web-based apps. As the managing editor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the editorial plan for Islands, assigning stories, researching new angles and approving copy.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. While Bonnier doesn’t list specific requirements for the position, we estimate that you’ll need to have an impressive editorial background and passion for consumer magazine publishing.
