Washington Life Editor Names Party Has-Beens
On Sunday, Washington’s well-known PR duo of Jayne Sandman and Barbara Martin graced the cover of NYT‘s Style section in a gushing profile that could only be construed as positive. What wasn’t surprising to D.C. journos is their elevated name recognition, Martin’s self-deprecating humor or that turkeys stayed at the W Hotel, their client, in anticipation of the White House turkey pardoning.
Sandman and Martin, of BrandLinkDC, were beyond ecstatic about the story. “Jayne and I (she in Cape Cod, me on the Eastern Shore) were both up at the crack of dawn on Sunday, each trying desperately to find a copy anywhere,” Martin told FishbowlDC.
