Want to Cover a Debate in Des Moines?

Des Moines may not be the flashiest place on earth, but the GOP presidential candidates will be there for yet another debate on Dec. 10. Want to cover it?

ABC News and the GOP of Iowa are accepting requests for press credentials for the Republican debate sponsored by ABC News, WOI-TV, The Des Moines Register and the Republican Party of Iowa. The debate will be at Drake University and will be broadcast on primetime TV at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Credentials: Journos who get into the press filing center should fill out the request form here.  If you are interested in reserving space for a stand up location in the spin room, a stand up location outside, and/or parking for a satellite truck, request it. The credential won’t grant access to the debate hall. Deadline for submitting: Dec. 6.

Still Photography Inside the Debate Hall:  ABC News promises to provide complete photo coverage of the debate. There will be an opportunity for a tight pool of photographers, chosen by ABC News and the debate sponsors, to photograph the candidates at some point in the program. Photographers interested in obtaining a press credential must fill out the request form here indicating they are requesting inclusion in the photo pool.
