VP of Engineering John Quinn Out at Digg

The uproar over the new interface at Digg cost vice president of engineering John Quinn his job, as TechCrunch confirmed Quinn’s departure from the company.

According to TechCrunch, Quinn was the force behind Digg’s move to Cassandra from MySQL. He had been with Digg for three years.
