Facebook has a new vice president of communications: Michael Buckley, who had been a U.S. managing partner at global strategy and communications consultancy Brunswick Group, with the social network among his clients.
Facebook has a new vice president of communications: Michael Buckley, who had been a U.S. managing partner at global strategy and communications consultancy Brunswick Group, with the social network among his clients.
AllThingsD reported on the hire, saying that Buckley essentially succeeds VP of Corporate Communications Joe Lockhart, who left Facebook last October.
According to AllThingsD, Buckley will lead Facebook’s international, monetization, corporate, consumer, and policy communications, reporting to VP of Communications and Public Policy Elliot Schrage and working alongside VP of Technology Communications Caryn Marooney and Global VP of Public Policy Marne Levine.
