Vox Media Names Nishat Kurwa Its First Executive Producer for Audio
She'll be responsible for all the podcasts
Vox Media hired Nishat Kurwa to originate a new role for the company as the first executive producer of audio for its growing podcast efforts. As ep of audio, Kurwa will be responsible for all of the company’s current and future podcasts across all of its eight properties, which include Eater, Vox, SB Nation and The Verge among them.
It will be a role that will require a lot of organization and likely reorganization, considering the fact that Vox Media doesn’t have a unified podcasting operation, and all eight publications handle their podcast creation and production differently.
