Voting has officially gone live as of today for Cooper-Hewitt’s People’s Design Award (though we’re pretty sure they got the thing out a little earlier, since we saw that you could vote this weekend). You have until October 16th to pick your favorites from all kinds of different categories, from motion graphics to inventive product design. You can even nominate something that’s not already in their selection, should you have something you really dig, but aren’t seeing on the site. The winner will be announced on October 18th at the National Design Awards ceremony in NY. Should we once again mention the product we UnBeige editors developed? Surely you remember Froggles (goggles for frogs). They could certainly use a boost — they’re selling very poorly.
