VMS Appoints New President
David Stephens has replaced Peter Wengryn as president of VMS, the media monitoring, management, and analysis company. He will report to company chairman Robert Waggoner. Previously, Stephens was MD of the Asia Pacific region for Wolters Kluwer Health and served as an adviser to the VMS board.
This summer, Wengryn spoke with us about plans to layoff 22 of its 800 employees, 3 percent of its workforce. While he did not confirm any executive layoffs at the time, CMO Mike Giovia has also left the company.
