Reporter Earns High Praise From Vin Scully
Last month, we highlighted Sharon Henry’s wonderful illustration in the Los Angeles Register depicting a typical day at the office for legendary Dodgers announcer Vin Scully.
Via Twitter, Henry yesterday made us aware of an equally wonderful and entirely emblematic response from the man himself. On May 5, Scully dispatched a letter of thanks to the graphic reporter and included the following sentence:
I think I enjoyed your great artwork as much as anything that has ever been written about my job.
