Vimeo Takes on Twitter with GIF-like Video Maker, Echograph
Vimeo will have a new app for making videos that look like animated GIFs. The company today announced the acquisition of Echograph from Clear-Media for an undisclosed sum. Much like Twitter's Vine, Echograph plays short video clips on a loop.
Vimeo will have a new app for making videos that look like animated GIFs. The company today announced the acquisition of Echograph from Clear-Media for an undisclosed sum.
Much like Twitter’s Vine, Echograph plays short video clips on a loop.
“We chose Echograph because it helps people easily create beautiful high quality video content,” said Vimeo CEO Kerry Trainor in a statement.
The application was an Editor’s Choice in the App Store in more than 130 countries.
