The video above (posted by Brett Meisner) appears to be from a press junket for the pre-YouTube era Jersey Girl — which poses an interesting challenge for actors and their publicists, 2006: Can an awkward, creepy, drunken appearance on a unwatched Canadian television show while promoting a 2004 film affect an actor’s image in 2006? How much junket b-roll, just waiting to be uploaded, have we not seen?

Ben Affleck might not be the litmus test for such questions, but it’s a perfectly uncomfortable video nonetheless.
