Vice Media is getting into the money/business/finance world with the launch of a new vertical, Vice Money. The site—available at news.vice.com/money—will launch Sunday evening.
Vice Money is overseen by editor in chief Matt Phillips. He most recently served as Quartz’s finance and markets editor. Phillips had been with Quartz since 2012.
“It just seems like there’s a real chance to do something new,” Phillips told Variety. “We’re trying to bring business news to generations of readers and viewers who are intensely interested in the role that business and finance play in the world.”
