Vanessa Grigoriadis is joining The New York Times Magazine as a contributing writer. Grigoriadis’ work has appeared in a variety of publications, including New York, Vanity Fair and Rolling Stone.
In 2007, Grigoriadis won the National Magazine Award for profile writing for a New York piece on Karl Lagerfeld.
In a memo to staff, Times Magazine editor Jake Silverstein wrote “Vanessa’s stuff crackles with intelligence and humor, and she’s also a great magazine thinker, someone who knows and understands the whole game.
