Radio Veteran Valerie Smaldone ‘Excited’ About Off-Broadway Role
We told you yesterday about longtime radio personality Valerie Smaldone ready to appear off-Broadway.
Smaldone, the former longtime DJ at Clear Channel’s WLTW/Lite-FM, is joining the cast of Girl Talk: The Musical.
Even though Smaldone has had an extensive radio and voice-over career, she has acted throughout her life.
But this gig came about after she was approached by the producer on the referral from another producer.
“I chose the role, because I was so excited to be asked to be in the original cast of a new musical,” Smaldone tells FishbowlNY.
