UP2CODE App Encourages SF Citizens To Report City Code Violations

In a move to encourage community involvement, San Francisco City Attorney Dennis Herrera has introduced a new mobile app that lets citizens report non-emergency code enforcements.

Citizens can use the UP2CODE app, which is available for iOS and Android, to report things like unsafe construction sites, restaurants not following health codes and apartments not following housing rules. The office is coordinated with various city agencies including building inspections, the departments of health and public works, as well as the police and fire departments.
