Unenthused Fairgoers or is it the Pictures?
Pictures are worth a 1000 words as the worn expression goes. But nah, not always. Sometimes they’re actually worth about 20. Sifting through these WCP pictures from the Arlington County Fair makes a person want to avoid the fairgrounds entirely.
As freelancer Eddie Scarry put it, “I know people without fingers that could take a better picture.”
To be sure, aside from meaningless balloons and people who look like they’d prefer to die rather than be there, a few photographs jump out.
