Two Worlds Colliding

Print and online journalism may have had a tenuous courtship, but it seems as if the marriage is slowly improving at the Washington Post. The Washingtonian’s Harry Jaffe comments on the union and how it has changed the job description of print journalists. Most notably, print reporters have been encouraged — and are obeying orders — to carry digital cameras around with them to obtain footage for the web. The goal is to equip every Post foreign bureau with digital cameras.
