Two New Deputy Bureau Chiefs At CNN DC

CNN is adding a vice president in the Washington bureau.
Edith Chapin, currently the bureau chief in New York, “is assuming a new role within the DC Bureau as Vice President, Deputy Bureau Chief overseeing newsgathering — including the beats, the America Bureau, and the assignment desk,” CNN/U.S. president Jon Klein announced today.
She will report to senior VP and bureau chief David Bohrman. “Her knowledge of the news, this network, and the people throughout CNN Worldwide will be an enormous asset to David and his team as they tackle one of the busiest election seasons in recent memory,” Klein says.
