Twitter's $1 Million Ad Credit Giveaway

Runs promotion ahead of Small Business Saturday

Back in February Twitter announced a self-serve ad platform for small businesses to run Promoted Tweet and Promoted Account campaigns. To get advertisers on board, the company partnered with American Express to dangle a carrot (in the form of a $100 ad credit) for the first 10,000 Amex cardmembers and merchants who signed up.

Now Twitter is once again pulling that carrot of its hat with a promotion timed to American Express’s annual Small Business Saturday, which takes place this weekend and encourages consumers to spend with local merchants.
