New Xbox One Update Has Deep Twitter Integration

Microsoft first started teasing a deeper Xbox One integration with social media back in June when the Redmond-based giant announced that 45 new apps would be coming to Xbox, including Twitter and Vine.

In their Xbox One November preview Microsoft has detailed what to expect from the update, which includes a number of new Twitter features.

1. Tweet Game Clips – Share your favorite Xbox One game clips with your followers on Twitter. Click the Share button on any game clip you have created and then select Twitter to compose the Tweet.

2. Watch Live TV With Twitter – With the new Live TV and Twitter integration you can discover new shows to love and see what people are saying on Twitter about those shows in real-time.

3. Twitter TV Trending – Initially only available in the U.S., see what Live TV is trending based on shows with the most conversations taking place on Twitter.

4. Tweets in MiniGuide – See the actual tweets for the Live TV shows in real time and easily find the Twitter #hashtag to take part in the conversation.

These new features (and more) are rolling out to Xbox One preview program members starting today, and will be available to everyone in November.
