Twitter Users Can Vote for MTV VMAs Best New Artist via Interactive DMs
Twitter will also livestream a red-carpet show sponsored by Pepsi
The 2017 MTV Video Music Awards will be handed out Sunday, Aug. 27 at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., and fans can vote for the best new artist via direct message on Twitter.
Taco Bell is presenting the interactive voting via DMs on @MTV, in which Twitter users have until Sunday to choose between:
- Khalid
- Kodak Black
- SZA
- Young M.A
- Julia Michaels
- Noah Cyrus
Users can share their votes with their Twitter followers. Once the top two vote-getters are determined Sunday, head-to-head voting via hashtag will continue until the award is presented.
