As an active Twitter user, my guess is you watch quite a lot of live television.
You’re probably a heavy YouTube user. And you like your Netflix, DVR and iTunes, too.
Twitter users, it transpires, are heavy TV viewers. And that’s TV in all of its forms – traditional, of course, as well as modern online digital mediums such as YouTube and Netflix.
Indeed, Twitter users are about eight percentage points more likely to watch live television than non-Twitter users, and 26 percentage points more likely to be active on YouTube.
Twitter users also self-identify as more knowledgable about TV and say that people will seek out their opinion about shows.
They’re big second screeners, too.
