Twitter Moments just got a bit more musical, as tweets with audio cards from SoundCloud are now supported.

Audio content, including entire playlists, can now be easily shared, and The Next Web pointed out that early adopters include Vice’s Thump and Stereogum.

SoundCloud announced the new Twitter Moments feature in a blog post:

The millions of people following Twitter Moments might notice more music on the service. That’s because curators can now share entire playlists, or any other audio content, with SoundCloud’s audio cards embedded right into the tweet. Already one of the best vehicles for the most up-to-date worldwide trends, news and live events, Twitter Moments’ partnership with SoundCloud will add a whole new audio dynamic to the experience.

Like in the regular Twitter stream, SoundCloud audio cards work seamlessly within the Moments interface, giving those unfamiliar with the format an introduction to our platform. With 125 million tracks, SoundCloud has a larger content catalog than any other streaming service, spanning both mainstream and emerging artists. Integrated into Twitter Moments, listeners will enjoy that diversity of content via a curated listening experience that’s relevant to the current moment.
