Twitter to Livestream Bloomberg Television Coverage of Debates
The livestreaming deal between Twitter and Bloomberg Television, announced in July, has been expanded to include the upcoming presidential and vice presidential debates.
The livestreaming deal between Twitter and Bloomberg Television, announced in July, has been expanded to include the upcoming presidential and vice presidential debates.
The social network and the news outlet said in a press release that Bloomberg Television’s broadcasts of the following debates will be livestreamed via Twitter:
- Monday, Sept. 26, first presidential debate
- Tuesday, Oct. 4, vice presidential debate
- Sunday, Oct. 9, second presidential debate
- Wednesday, Oct. 19, third presidential debate
The livestreams will also include special Bloomberg Politics programming 30 minutes before and after each debate, to be led by managing editors Mark Halperin and John Heilemann and joined by other reporters and analysts.
