Twitter Launches Support for Italian

Twitter added support for Italian Thursday, joining its already-existing English, Spanish, French and Japanese services.

The microblogging service announced the launch of Italian support on its blog, but it did so in Italian, which was no surprise, considering the fact that when French support was added, the announcement was made in French.

TechCrunch was kind enough to translate the blog post into English, and for those who are fluent in Italian, the original post by Twitter’s Jenna Dawn follows after the jump.

The English translation, courtesy of TechCrunch:

We’re excited because today, with the launch of the Italian version, our site becomes even more a platform for global communication.
