Twitter Appoints New Global Media Chief

Things are moving pretty fast at Twitter.

Less than a month after the company’s head of media in North America, Chloe Sladden, left the firm, Twitter has found her replacement.

Katie Stanton, previously vice president of international market development, has been appointed Twitter’s vice president of global media, Variety reports. Stanton will become the lead liaison for Twitter in a number of key industries for the brand, including TV, music and sports.

Stanton, who previously worked at Yahoo and Google, as well as stints at the White House under President Obama and the State Department with Hilary Clinton, has been a member of Twitter’s flock for four years.
