Twitter’s Jinen Kamdar Buzzes Off for BuzzFeed
Kamdar succeeds Chris Johanesen, who is now principal product manager
After more than seven years at Twitter, director of product for media tools Jinen Kamdar is off to a media company, beginning his new role Monday as vice president of product at BuzzFeed.
Kamdar announced his departure from Twitter via tweet (embedded below):

Kamdar told Anthony Ha of TechCrunch that it was too early for him to know exactly what he would be working on at BuzzFeed, saying he was excited to work with “all these talented writers and producers” and to build tools to “not only create content, but quickly learn how the content is performing,” adding:
When I look at BuzzFeed, what attracts me are the things that make companies like Twitter special, too.
