Open Twitter. Check Twitter. Close Twitter… Now, How Would That Look As Art?

Are you a Twitter for iPhone user? If so, you probably haven’t given much thought to the patterns that your thumb or finger makes as you maneuver around the application, as we tend to do these things subconsciously, certainly once they become a habit.

Enter artist Evan Roth.

Roth has a created a series of finger paintings that have been created through direct contact of his inked finger on tracing paper over an iPhone. The works, entitled “Open Twitter. Check Twitter. Close Twitter.”, reveal the pattern that Roth’s digit took as he used the application.

There are 30 paintings in all, one for each day in September.

They’re priced at $340 each, but that does include the frame and shipping.
