Twitter Use Amongst Online Retailers Doubles To 76% [REPORT]

A new report from online payment service Sage Pay has revealed the extent to which businesses are incorporating social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook in their marketing campaigns.

In a survey of more than 1,000 businesses in the UK and Ireland, 76% of internet retailers are now using Twitter as part of their marketing arsenal – a figure which has almost doubled in a year.

Facebook use amongst companies is also up to 76%, a gain of 18% year-on-year.
