Former National Security Council assistant press secretary Emily Horne will assume her new role June 19
Former National Security Council assistant press secretary Emily Horne joined Twitter as global policy communications director.
Kurt Wagner of Recode reported that Horne will assume her new role June 19, reporting to senior director of communications Kristin Binns and focusing on communications for Twitter policy, including abuse, hate speech and user privacy.
Binns and Horne each announced the move via tweets:
