Twitter is doing its part to give voters in the 2016 presidential election as much information as it can.

Twitter is doing its part to give voters in the 2016 presidential election as much information as it can.

Public policy manager Tom Tarantino announced in a blog post that users who send direct messages to @Gov, the Twitter Government account, will be able to access personalized information including polling locations, candidates, propositions and resources about absentee voting and state election rules.

Facebook launched a similar initiative last week, vote planner.
