Twitter Eases Up on Direct Messaging Restrictions
Changes could come in handy for brands
Twitter is making it a lot easier for people to communicate with verified accounts, like brands or celebrities.
The Next Web reports that Twitter has changed its Direct Message requirements, making it possible for verified accounts to receive messages from users without having to go through the process of first following the user, asking for a direct message, then unfollowing the user after the messaging has ended.
Twitter hasn’t announced whether the changes will be rolling out for all of its users.
