Twitter Adds Turkish And Russian Support, Now Available In 9 Languages

As the platform expands its reach around the world, Twitter is responding with a big global push, opening offices in London, appointing a country manager in Japan, and now, reports the official blog, adding new language options.

Joining Italian, Spanish, Korean, French, German, Japanese, and of course English, Twitter is now available in Turkish and Russian.

Writes Twitter communications/PR associate Carolyn Penner:

Starting today, you’ll be able to use Twitter in Russian and Turkish. We added these two languages to our Translation Center about two months ago.
